A Letter from the Founder Chairman

It gives me immense pleasure to share with you certain fascinating facts about a beautiful institution, Om Sai Education Trust's Blossom Children's Academy, Wai.

Which is a progressive English Medium School, pulsating with vibrant activities and blooming with the lively faces of its 700 plus learners and 45 plus educators who wholeheartedly participate in all spheres of erudition. We combine the best elements of holistic education focusing on achieving academic, co-curricular and moral excellence.

This process is continuing since the inception of the school in 1998, with the provision of inclusive classes from play groups to Class X. We are also planning to launch Junior College classes for Humanities, Science and Commerce students. The school is located in a tranquil setting within the heart of the historical town of Wai, which has been an idyllic locale famous for its Vedic learning and 'the Guru Shishya Paramapara'.

The motto of our school is 'Together We Grow' and our campaign is 'Building for a Better Tomorrow'. We have always aimed at a fusion of national culture with that of the local while seeking international conquest using English as a link language with the world. Now we are aspiring to expand this unique Community.

Mrs. Mansi Ghadge

As the Principal of Blossom Children's Academy Wai, I am excited to share our future plans and vision for the school. Our short-term goals focus on enhancing academic excellence, upgrading infrastructure, integrating technology, and promoting student well-being.

We aim to implement new teaching methods, upgrade our facilities, and provide training for teachers to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practices. We will also provide ongoing professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Our goal is to create a culture of innovation, creativity, and social responsibility that prepares students for success in an ever-changing world.

Community

Wai is a vibrant town in Satara District, in Maharashtra, India located 35km north of Satara in the mountainous region of the Kashi City. With over 100 temples, Wai has been prominent since the days of the Peshwas. Locally prominent families built several architecturally significant temples in Wai. Wai's core diversity and the people's culture of unity make it a welcoming, friendly place, endowing it with a hospitable environment.

Instruction

The Blossom Children's Academy benefits from well-qualified and dedicated teaching staff, with a student-staff ratio of 10:1. Educators create a favorable atmosphere through friendly, interactive approaches. Modern teaching methods encourage critical thinking and decision-making. We follow the inclusive SSC curriculum while integrating moral and peace education programs that foster character development.

Sports and Health

We believe in all-round development and encourage participation in sports activities with expert trainers. Student fitness is promoted through regular exercise, PE classes, and active involvement in games. Talents are nurtured in a beautiful, motivating environment that promotes physical well-being alongside academic growth.

Technology

Technology is fundamental to all curricular and extracurricular areas. Lessons, video conferencing, media center access, and scheduling are computer-supported. Educators use varied equipment like smart-boards, whiteboards, and projectors to present engaging lessons across content areas, creating an intellectually stimulating environment infused with modern tools.

Creativity and Self-Expression

Students engage in creative expression through classroom activities, stage performances, and extracurriculars, fostering personality development, confidence, and self-esteem. Our annual function showcases innovative student work in elocution, dramatics, art, music, and dance. All talents are encouraged and nurtured through these vibrant programs.

Happiness Quotient

As Robert Louis Stevenson wrote: "The world is full of a number of things, I'm sure we should be as happy as kings!" The relationships between educators and students, parents and staff, and administration form our foundation. When these relationships balance goodwill, understanding, and compassion, the happiness quotient enhances everyone's work and the learning process flourishes at Blossom.
