Wai is a vibrant town in Satara District, Maharashtra, India, located approximately 35km north of Satara in the mountainous region of the Kashi City, known as the town of 100 temples from the days of the Peshwas.
We have a rich history with locally prominent families. The town has long been known for its architectural significance, with several temples built in Wai.
Wai's core diversity is reflected in its culture of unity and welcoming friendliness, endowing the place with a hospitable environment.
Instruction
The Blossom Children's Academy benefits from the presence of well qualified and dedicated teaching staff; with the student-staff ratio of 10:1. The educators apply their training, qualifications and experience to enhance the spirit of enquiry among the young minds and imbue fervour for the learning process, which is supported by well-equipped classes and a decent infra structure. They are able to generate a favorable atmosphere in the class rooms through a friendly and interactive approach. Modern and innovative teaching methods are encouraged, using a variety of teaching styles, encouraging critical and ‘out of the box' thinking, promoting the ability to take risks and make decisions. We believe that by boosting the educators' confidence and self esteem, we invariably advance their productivity. We believe in the concept of inclusive education. Currently, we are following the inclusive SSC curriculum and at the same time integrating it with moral education and peace education programmes which foster a sound development of character. Some elements of peace education include conflict resolution, leading to ‘peaceful classrooms'; bringing oneself to account each day; getting to know each other; being mediators; developing good listening skills; respecting, caring for and loving others; having positive attitudes towards, plants, animals and birds.

Message from the Principal
As the Principal of Blossom Children's Academy Wai, I am excited to share our future plans and vision for the school. Our short-term goals focus on enhancing academic excellence, upgrading infrastructure, integrating technology, and promoting student well-being. We aim to implement new teaching methods, upgrade our facilities, and provide training for teachers to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practices. We will also provide ongoing professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge. Our goal is to create a culture of innovation, creativity, and social responsibility that prepares students for success in an ever-changing world.
Technology
Technology is a fundamental aspect of all curricular and co- curricular areas.
In addition to the scheduled computer lessons, video conferencing will be made available in our media center and the new building will have wireless access.
Educators will rely on varied equipment, such as smart-boards (interactive whiteboards) to prepare and present effective and engaging lessons in various content areas. Thus, Blossom will provide an environment infused with intellectual discipline and creativity.
Creativity and Self-Expression
As the students involve themselves in creative expression and artistic activities in the class rooms as well as through stage performances and extra-curricular activities, their personality development is brought to the fore with the boosting of self confidence and self esteem. Our annual function is a much looked forward to event every year which ensures the participation of all the students in various forms of innovative endeavours. Happiness Quotient
As Robert Louis Stevenson said in his two line poem: Happy Thought, “The World is full of a number of things, I'm sure we should be as happy as kings!” If we reflect about what makes a beautiful environment, it invariably brings to our mind the people in our lives. The mutual interactions and rapport of educators with students; the relationship shared by educators and parents and the camaraderie between the Heads of the institution and their staff members are the foundation stones of a concrete, long lasting edifice. When all of these relationships enjoy a balance in an institution, the happiness quotient is reflected in the work and productivity of all and the learning process is enhanced. In Blossom, we ensure that the factors of goodwill, understanding and compassion prevail at all times during interpersonal interactions.

We aim at a fusion of national culture with that of the local while seeking international conquest using English as a link language with the world.
While, we have been producing 100% result in the SSC Examination of Class X, we are limited in our resources and are currently functioning on a leased property. The goal of our school is to construct its own building which will be well equipped with all the necessary amenities.
We can achieve this only with the help of vigilant citizens of this country who are service-oriented and conscious of their responsibilities towards their society.
We hope that this brochure will motivate you to know more about the school and its foundation as well as its vision.
